During May 23-26, 2016, a delegation of Danish companies and institutions is visiting Kenya, Nairobi, as part of the Trade Mission about Agribusiness, Water and Energy.
Danish companies, active in the field of agribusiness and food, water, and energy, are participating in a variety of activities during their one-week trip to Kenya, which is meant to prepare the ground for future business collaborations. The Danish Minister for Environment and Food, Mr Esben Lunde Larsen is also joining the delegation.
The Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Confederation of Danish Industry and The Danish Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises are the organisers of the Trade Mission.
The program offers the opportunity to acquire deeper insights into collaboration, investment and export opportunities of the Kenyan agribusiness, water and cleantech sectors. It includes meetings with key decision makers, business matchmaking seminars, field trips and other customised events.
Quercus Group’s contribution to the program will be during day-4 of the visit. On 25th of May, at Mayfair Hotel, in Nairobi, guests will attend the Kenya-Denmark Business Partnership Conference, organised by Quercus Group. The event aims to create a shared understanding of Danish-Kenyan business contexts and establish the foundation for future partnership opportunities.
Since 2013 Quercus Group has worked with counties and organisations in Kenya to promote regional growth. We have done this by facilitating dialogue and collaboration between public and private stakeholders, and by bridging Kenyan investment opportunities to Danish investors and companies.
