Quercus Group has been officially appointed as knowledge partner for the Global Green Growth Forum.
The Global Green Growth Forum – 3GF Summit 2016 took place in Copenhagen during June 6-7, bringing together world leaders and policy makers. The summit built on previous events such as the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals or the Climate Agreement in Paris, with the aim to maximise the progress arising from those projects and to advance the sustainability agenda.
As of May 2016, Quercus Group collaborates closely with 3GF to curate, organize and disseminate information in relation to green growth – “We are really proud and honoured to be knowledge partner of 3GF based on our practical experience with green growth in Kenya, India and many other countries.”, said Nicolai Sederberg Rottbøll, Quercus Group CEO.
The summit is an annual event that aims to provide a systemic change in relation to green growth policies. This year’s program contained plenary, dialogue and learning sessions for people to build on previous projects and to create concrete actions and plans. Among the 300 participants from public and private organisations, the Danish Prime Minister and Ministers from 3GF partner countries (Vietnam, Kenya, Ethiopia, Chile, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, China and Qatar) were also present.
