Quercus Group is Participating in the 19th TCI Global Conference in Eindhoven

November 8, 2016

The TCI Global conference will be taking place from 8-10 November 2016 in Brainport Eindhoven Region, in The Netherlands. The conference is held every year and this year’s theme is “Global Changes – Challenges for Innovation clusters”. More than 300 participants that include facilitators, practitioners, cluster managers, businesses, policy makers and academia will be attending the conference. The conference’s theme will look at global changes  and explore how cluster-based organizations react to these changes.

The conference is organized around different topics, where Quercus Group will be taking part in sharing their experience from working with clusters. The first topic will be based on how clusters can form new collaborative structures that foster internationalization and innovation as they (clusters) facilitate the learning capacity within their ecosystems. This is because the capacity to learn and adapt makes a difference for a cluster. The second one will focus on how clusters can sustainably develop the food sector, by specifically looking at linking SMEs into the supply chain through new business models and entrepreneurship. The two topics will be presented by Nicolai Sederberg Rottbøll and Michael Rottbøll repectively, through interactive sessions.

TCI Network is the leading global network of main organisations and practitioners with deep expertise in clusters and competitiveness, who collaborate in a unique open, flexible and practical context to advance in the practice of competitiveness, innovation and cluster development.

In recent years, clusters have been widely recognized as a catalyst for job creation, accelerated innovation, branding, SME growth and internationalization. Quercus Group offers trainings, workshops and consultancy services in cluster development including facilitation of vision & strategy development, stakeholder engagement, organizational development, financial and membership models and cluster internationalization.
