Join the business seminar in BLOXHUB on June 8 where partner Neelabh Singh will go deep into the possibilities for smaller Danish companies to engage in India's ambitious 100 Smart Cities Programme through the 'Gateway to India's Smart Cities' initiative in collaboration with Asia House Denmark and Innovation Centre Denmark, made possible by Industriens Fond. The meeting will have attendance from the Ambassador of India to Denmark, and we invite to jump on this opportunity to find out how your company can enter a large smart city market.
India is one of the global economy’s huge growth engines with an annual BNP growth of more than 7 %.
It is not only the Indian economy that keeps growing but also the population keeps increasing. In 2030, it is expected that India will overtake China’s status as the world’s most populated country.
In order to deal with the country’s fast urbanization, India’s Prime Minister Modi launched the ambitious programme “100 Smart Cities”, with an investment equivalent of DKK 100 billion over the next five years. The programme focuses on sustainable development for the many Indian cities that within the next 30 years will have a population increase of up to 400 million people.
BLOXHUB, together with Asia House, Innovation Centre Denmark, and Quercus Group, invite you to a seminar about the Indian Smart Cities Programme and the opportunities this programme avails to Danish companies.
The Ambassador of India in Denmark, Rajjev Shahare, will give a status on the Indian implementation of the “100 Smart Cities” programme, and why this provides the Danish business community with a unique export opportunity. Furthermore, the Danish project “Gateway to India’s Smart Cities”, which is designed to support Danish companies in entering the Indian Smart City market, will be presented
